Plain-language privacy
We built Roue to be useful without being creepy. Here's the short version of what happens with your data.
What we store on your device
Saved boards, your preferred mode, and (if you upgrade) your Pro entitlement flag are stored in your browser's local storage. They never leave your device unless you explicitly share a wheel link.
What we collect on our servers
Anonymous usage events: which ad slots rendered, which buttons were clicked, page views. No names, no IP-level tracking, no cross-site cookies. We use this only to improve the product.
Payments
Pro purchases are processed by Razorpay. We never see or store your card details. We receive only the payment status and an anonymous transaction ID, which we use to grant Pro access on your device.
Refunds
Founding-member purchases are refundable within 7 days, no questions asked. Email hello@roue.io with your Razorpay payment ID and we'll process it immediately. For monthly Pro (when available), cancel anytime — partial-month refunds are at our discretion.
Sponsor placements
All ads on Roue are first-party (we own them) at launch. We don't run third-party ad networks, retargeting pixels, or tracking scripts that follow you across the web. If we add programmatic ads later (e.g. Google AdSense), we'll update this page first.
Audiences under 13
Roue is designed to be safe for school use. We don't personalize ads, don't run third-party retargeting, and don't collect personal information from anyone under 13. Schools using Roue should not input personally identifiable student information into wheels.
